Once In A
Something is afoot. There's a certain energy to the air, an electric current tingling and thrumming beneath the normal nights' energy.
Walking down Milwaukee Ave. last night, my friend and I started talking to half a dozen young guys wearing suspenders, headbands, gold chains and wristbands. "We just got in from a wedding in the Historic Garden District of Compton," they told us in jest.
Close to home I passed a pair of identical twins dressed in the same outfit--not so unusual save they were grown women.
Weird and weirder. I'm now wondering what tonight will bring. After all, it's a blue moon.

Weird, did you ever figure out what was going on?
I've noticed that the English people like to dress up in "fancy dress" (aka, costumes) for any occasion. It's funny (but I like it).
For instance, I once saw a group of young/teenage girls having a picnic in the park - they were all wearing antennae headbands and sparkly fairy wings :)
