Texcitement

This is the sort of thing that pops up in my phone's text inbox throughout the day, and it becomes the better for it.

Islanders in the south pacific believe sex has nothing to do [with] having a child and that a spirit flies down from [a] tree when it's found the body to grow in. Even now.

That would take a very large condom to prevent.

I think the best form of contraception would be not to go near any trees…as that is where the spirits linger.

On receiving my text wishing everyone a happy Casimir Pulaski Day:
I know how much you love 'poles.'

Just making conversation:
Have you ever read les mis? I'm only on pg90 and I'm so taken in by hugo's writing. He writes exactly what I feel I should know, doesn't leave a stone unturned and is intuitive.

From a friend coming back to Illinois from Texas:
The rosy Prince of the Morning has returned! The young man yawns, stretches, leaps from train to homeward train! Like hounds the Northern winds announce him!
