Midnight Musings

PDPeople remembering Auld Lang Syne (days gone by)
It's 2007, and I have yet to write a year-in-review as I've done in the past few. My MySpace and Facebook profiles are thus woefully out of date, but my excuse is I haven't had the time - what with an international visitor and all.

Spending a week in the company of my dear flatmate Lucy made me realise: just how old we're growing, especially contrasted to my innocence half a decade ago; how empty a city Chicago is--nay, how empty a country it is that we live in; that one's personality remains the same regardless of time or geographical changes; and finally, that ALL of my friends in Chicago are dating people. Well, it certainly felt that way this past week.

I'm leery of posting this, since it's neither interesting nor groundbreaking. But better a post nattering on than nothing, and better a picture than naught.

Crossing fingers for a good year.

I'm not dating anyone either. I never am, and I'm not in Chicago, but it's something, eh? Besides, if you're dating someone, then everyone else can't be dated by you, so what's the fun in that?

Those two people in back look kind of resentful. They wish they'd been in PDP.
