Oh Sweet Mercy

Stuck all alone in the office, a mere 6 phonecalls answered in four hours, I've just about bitten off my arm out of sheer boredom. Why, oh why, did I have to work today? Why did the firm not close like normal, cool businesses, who realize that people should get a four-day weekend when the 4th falls on a Tuesday? WHY?!?

I've written friends in Zambia and England, caught up on all my blogs, read part of a book on left-handers, and am resisting the urge to go on Ebay and bid on things I can't afford. Thankfully, I received good news: the firm is closing at 2 p.m. Huzzah!

The best part? My lunch break is from 1:30--2:30. I get to leave a half hour before everyone else.
