Upping Sticks

After almost two years of living in my current West Town apartment, I'm craving a change. Rather than move to a new city and get a crappy job (something my career counselor suggests is not a wise decision), I'm upping sticks one whole mile north. There I will be ensconced in Wicker Park, someplace I never thought I'd be able to afford.
I'll be living it up in a 4-bedroom rehabbed apartment with three other girls. With two stories and over 3,500 sq. ft. of hardwood floors, a fireplace, and a back deck with an amazing view, I'm in for a treat. Move-in is the start of July, so now I'm scrambling to find a subleaser for the last two months of my lease. Luckily, Alex will be staying put another year, so I'll be able to swing by my old 'hood whenever I want.
Got to go: must dig out Chuck Taylors, wear black-framed glasses, and read Foucault or Ulysses while sipping coffee (or, in my case, a chai latte). That's what Wicker Park hipsters do, you know.
