'Nuff Said
Dear Theresa,
Thank you for taking the time to interview for the position of Marketing Coordinator at the British Council. We interviewed a number of outstanding
candidates for the position and were impressed with the accomplishments of those who applied. Unfortunately, we are able to invite only the candidates who most closely meet our needs to continue in the interview process, and we are sorry to inform you that your application was not selected.
We will however be hiring for a few additional posts (job descriptions currently under development) within both the Communications and Education team. Please let me know whether you would like to be considered for those posts.
Again, we appreciate your interest in the British Council and wish you the very best in the future.
Best regards,
Kirsten Haines McKinney

Well - let me be the first to say -rejection sucks.
Are you going to be considered for the other, "job descriptions under development" positions?
Who wants to be in DC right now anyway - I think the current office would cause me to break out in hives if I had to be any closer than seeing his stupidity on television...:)
Sorry to hear Theresa, I am sure you will find something else, besides you got a memorable trip to DC out of the deal.
Condolences, and a shoulder offered
