Too Long, Too Bad

I know I got a little out of control with my weekend-in-France post, so feel free to just look at the photos. Or save it to tide you over for the next while. Since my family is (or are, as they say here) coming on Friday, I'm not sure when I'l be able to write. Here's the game plan:

19 Dec: champagne breakfast for the department, hosted by our office, followed by the annual Christmas lunch. Accidentally told my half-German coworker Tim I can drink him under the table within hearing of my boss. Oh dear! And I'm meeting my parents afterwards!

30 Dec: parents/brother leave and I go to France to meet my French friend Sonia and Swiss friend Stephan. Paris for New Year's Eve--oh yeah!!!

4 Jan: Back to Britain, back to work. Start being a hostess for the next four weekends running.
